The Rivne State Humanities University actively develops international partnerships by participating in joint educational, scientific, and cultural projects with foreign institutions.

The aim of the project: The VCIEU-CU project aims to study the creative economy in the EU and adapt successful models and practices in Ukraine. It will cover the concepts, policies, and mechanisms of the creative economy in the EU, the ecosystem of the creative economy, technologies, management, and marketing, as well as the connections between the Ukrainian creative economy and post-war reconstruction. The project analyses the policies, mechanisms, and guiding principles underlying the successful creative economy of the EU, exploring technologies, business models, and marketing to promote creative enterprises in Ukraine.

Expected results: The project consists of two components – teaching and research. In the field of teaching, it contributes to the improvement of education in the EU and the establishment of interaction between academic circles and society. In the field of research, it aims to generate new knowledge to support the formulation of EU policy and enhance its global role. The project includes conducting lectures, as well as preparing a scientific monograph and creating a digital online repository of modules. 
The target groups of the project are: 
1) higher education students, postgraduates (20 per year); 
2) representatives of the creative industries, civil society, public officials, media workers, educators, and researchers (20 per year). 
The project will promote the deepening of Ukraine's integration with the EU by raising awareness of common mechanisms to support the creative economy and opportunities for cultural and academic partnerships. This will provide a deeper understanding for the target audience of the opportunities for multidimensional development of cultural and creative industries. The project will have a long-term impact on the development of Ukraine's creative economy and its contribution to post-war reconstruction. Professionals in the creative industries, media workers, public officials, civil society representatives, and educators will use the knowledge and skills gained in their professional and everyday activities. Both experts and target groups will act as agents of EU public diplomacy.

Comprehensive Implementation of Augmented and Alternative Communication Methodology in the Ukrainian Education System / Comprehensive Introduction of Augmented and Alternative Communication Methodology into the Ukrainian System of Education (AMUSE)

The aim of the project: The AMUSE project is aimed at addressing a number of issues and bridging certain gaps to improve the professional training of teachers before and during their work using augmentative and alternative communication (hereinafter AAC – Augmentative and Alternative Communication) in Ukrainian higher education institutions..

The project involves the establishment of an inclusive education hub at a Ukrainian higher education institution, an innovative classroom for organising the educational process for the use of ADF in preschool, primary, and secondary education; the establishment of partnerships with preschool, primary, secondary, and higher education institutions to provide opportunities for the practical testing of ADF, the development of a system for exchanging experiences and interaction between universities in Europe and Ukraine, which will contribute to the internationalisation and integration into the European educational space..

Expected results:

  1. Updated educational programmes.
  2. New courses have been developed.
  3. Building the capacity of educators who require approaches and methods of AAC to work with the constantly increasing number of children with speech disorders, for whom this methodology remains inaccessible due to a lack of information about it and potential learning opportunities.
